- In Sherbrooke, the Athlétiques’ tough start to the season continues, as they lose 5-2 to the Drummondville Cubs. Roberto Vargas limited them to 5 hits but as many walks in 6.2 innings, but Sal Maglie crushes any hopes with a 7 out-save. Jerry Cotnoir hit a single and a double, collecting 2 RBI in the win. Bill Brandt was the losing pitcher.
